Terms of Service
These terms describe the rules for using LessonsForge, including accounts, generated content, acceptable use, billing, and service availability.
Effective date: June 27, 2026
Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service govern access to and use of LessonsForge, a course production studio produced by Develastic. By using the website or application, you agree to these Terms.
If you use the service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
The service
LessonsForge helps users plan, generate, revise, translate, and export educational course materials. Some features use AI models, isolated rendering workers, and other automated processing systems.
Accounts and access
- Production sign-in uses Google OAuth / OpenID Connect or another identity provider we approve.
- You are responsible for maintaining control of your Google account and any devices used to access the service.
- We may suspend or restrict access if we believe an account is compromised, abusive, unlawful, or harmful to the service.
- Administrative access requires explicit authorization beyond ordinary Google sign-in.
Your content
You retain ownership of course materials, prompts, files, and other content you submit, subject to any rights others may have in materials you provide.
You grant us the rights needed to host, process, transmit, transform, display, generate, translate, export, and otherwise operate the service for your content and instructions.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights and permissions needed for content you upload or ask the service to process.
AI-generated output
AI-generated output can be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, unsafe, or unsuitable for a particular audience. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving generated materials before use.
The service is a production aid, not a substitute for professional educational judgment, legal advice, medical advice, safety review, or compliance review.
Acceptable use
- Do not use the service for unlawful, harmful, abusive, deceptive, infringing, or exploitative activity.
- Do not upload malware, attempt prompt-injection attacks against system controls, bypass isolation boundaries, overload the service, or probe non-public systems.
- Do not attempt to access another user’s account, projects, exports, billing records, or administrative functions.
- Do not remove safety notices, falsify attribution, or use generated content in a way that violates law or third-party rights.
- Do not use the service to generate regulated professional advice without appropriate qualified review.
No tracking cookies on the public site
The public website does not use tracking cookies. Signed-in application areas may use strictly necessary session or security cookies. These are governed by the Privacy Policy.
Paid features, credits, and billing
Some features may be free, invite-only, usage-limited, credit-based, subscription-based, or paid. If paid features are enabled, pricing, credits, renewal terms, and refund rules will be presented in the product or an order form.
AI provider costs and credit usage may vary by model, feature, content length, retries, and generated outputs.
Beta and early-access features
Some features may be experimental, incomplete, rate-limited, or changed without notice. We may modify or discontinue beta features as we improve the product.
Service availability
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, provider outages, rate limits, security events, or force majeure may affect access or output generation.
Intellectual property
Develastic and its licensors own the service, software, design, brand, and platform materials, excluding your content. You may not copy, reverse engineer, or create derivative services from the platform except as permitted by law or written agreement.
Third-party services
The service may integrate with third-party providers such as Google sign-in, infrastructure providers, AI providers, payment processors, and rendering or storage systems. Their services may be governed by their own terms and policies.
Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available” to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, business interruption, or substitute services.
Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for the service in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim or one hundred euros, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for the service or others, or if we discontinue the service. Reasonable data export options may be provided where practical and lawful.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction requires otherwise.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the service evolves. The effective date above shows when the current version took effect. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
